Pet Photography Pricing Now Up

I have finally added pricing for pet photos to my pet site at www.southpawphotography.com. These are subject to change once I become a official photographer for Dane & Dane (as I'll be using their pricing packages and not my own). But until further notice, these are it! Thanks everyone for spreading the word!!!

Updates to Wedding Site

Hello all.

Just wanted to let you all know that I have finally added pricing (and dates in which I'm already booked) for 2008 to my wedding/portraiture site at www.soperphotography.com.
Get the word out- if you have a friend getting married, have them check it out. Also, two new weddings are up (Mosley and Goldenshtyne) and more will be added in the next few weeks.

My Adorable (Pregnant) Cousin

She's probably totally going to kill me for posting this, but I just had to share how adorable my cousin Erin is. She's due this month and was gracious (and brave) enough to allow me to shoot some maternity photos of her this week. How amazing does she look??!! Congratulations, Erin!!!!

Geoff & Mary's Engagment

I got to shoot my good friends Geoff and Mary's engagement pics yesterday on a beautiful, sunny, winter Seattle day. Thanks you two for an awesome shoot, I had a great time and I think we got some really fun pics. I can't wait for the next round!

My First CityDog Mag Shoot!

I am SO totally excited because last night I had my first CityDog Magazine shoot for Dane & Dane. I got to photograph these awesome little Yorkies, Peanut and Tigger, with cute little knit scarves and some REI products for a give-away they're promoting. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but I am totally excited about it. :) I think they'll be in the upcoming issue, but I'll let you know as soon as it's on the rack!

Welcome! I'm blogging!

Hello All!!!

Here I finally am, a college grad, needing a way to keep everyone up to date on what's up with me and my photography. No more mass this-is-what's-up emails, ...I hope. Being a photographer, I promise to have cool pics up at some point, but right now I'm just baby steppin'. Bare with me. I hope all of my previous models, both human and animal, are doing fabulous, as well as my poor friends who are still left with a quarter or two to go until the dreaded portfolio.

So, here's the quick rundown on Amy. I'm working full time at Overlake Hospital Medical Center to pay the bills- you all know about those damn student loans-but three days a week when I leave the hospital I head over to Dane & Dane Photography in West Seattle and work with J. Nichole Smith shooting pet portraits- which is totally awesome. I'm also still shooting weddings on weekends, so if anyone needs a wedding photographer, holler.
